This past Friday, I sat in a room for three hours and had an incredible conversation with my committee. Having read four papers I’d composed over the last year, my committee came with insights and observations and asked questions and it was glorious. I felt seen by them and what’s more, I felt like they really truly believe in me and my work. They offered some of the highest praise I’ve ever received and in the end they unanimously voted to pass me with distinction. I am exhausted and grateful.
Now. On to the dissertation!
